Anyways, while I allow myself to get back on track, please allow me to share this poem that scored me the number one spot on TeenInk.com . This is entitled, The New Boyfriend.
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY! Shall we take a quick trip down memory lane?
Good gracious! Now, I won't dig into myspace and old facebook pictures because you all may view me a tad differently and I'm alright with you all not knowing how I looked before this small glow up of mine.
So, I'm a few days late but it's fine. Point is, over the past week or two, we've been given early Christmas presents from some of our favorite artists. So, lets jump into my faves from each artist.
The past week made in uproar in many households due to the Thanksgiving Holiday (or Black Friday), and while I do not celebrate this holiday, it put me in such a thankful mood. I took the loving energy that I received from it and used it to express my love and appreciation for those near and dear to my heart.
It got me thinking though, why should we only be thankful this one day of the year? Why does it take this holiday for us to give people long texts, phone calls, email's, or DM's to tell them why we're so thankful to have them in our lives?
