Fre$h Music: New Trey Songz, Fabolous & More!

Tuesday, December 08, 2015

So, I'm a few days late but it's fine. Point is, over the past week or two, we've been given early Christmas presents from some of our favorite artists. So, lets jump into my faves from each artist.

To Whom it May Concern, Trey Songz

This project came completely unexpected, though I'm sure all of 'Treys Angels' are quite thankful despite no warning. Mr. Songz never fails to give his consistent personal styling of music in all his projects, whenever you hear one his songs, before he even begins to belt out the lyrics, you can tell it's a song of his. Now, for a few of my favorites from this 12 tracked mixtape:

1. Blessing
2. Used  To (Feat. J.R.)
3. Stuck - I guess you can say I'm stuck, on his original romantic personality such as Can't Help But Wait. This song reminds of his softer side, tell his girl that she's now stuck with a real one and that he'll be there to care for her needs and concerns.

Before the Party, Chris Brown
Chris, I can't say the songs on this mixtape surprised me at all because you've been quite loose at the lips lately, so needless to say, this mixtape probably won't be Parents of young children favorite thing ever. However, I'll still list some of my favorites (that aren't provocative at least).

1. All I Need (Feat. Wale) - It's been a little while since I've heard anything relatively sweet from Breezy, so of course this tune will make #1 on my favorites list out of this 34 tracked tape.

"All I need in this crazy world, is me and my baby girl. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Ain't nobody else, you make me feel like I can save the world. All I need, All I need."
How sweet is that?
2. Red Lights
3. Ghetto Tales

Summertime Shootout, Fabolous
Oh how I've been waiting for this man to drop some new blessings. I absolutely love Fab, and this mixtape definitely met all my expectations. Lets hope into my faves.

1.Real One (Feat. Jazzy)
2. Doin' It Well (Feat. Nicki Minaj & Trey Songz)
3. Sorry, Not Sorry (Feat. Bryson Tiller) - Rather it be something for the G's and their ladies, or something for the hustla's, Fab never fails to disappoint. My list for this tape could easily be extended, however I figured I'd be fair to our two other young men and keep it short and sweet.

These fellas definitely are closing this year the right way, with the perfect music. I suggest all of you go check out this new mixtapes if you haven't already, even if they aren't your usual flavor. I promise you will not be disappointed.

This isn't goodbye, it's see you later, until next time!
